Who can take NEBOSH PSM course?

The NEBOSH PSM is ideal for all professionals working in process industries, such as oil, gas, plastics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, worldwide.

It is also suited for personnel working in process industries, both inside as well as outside the UK such as:

  • Managers.

  • Safety representatives.

  • Health and safety advisors.

However, this course doesn’t suit chemical and process safety engineers having experience in the design, specification and maintenance of process plants.

Though there are no specific entry requirements, still the learners enrolling on this qualification are expected to have a basic understanding of health and safety issues and most probably will have their NEBOSH qualification like NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Learners are also recommended to have an appropriate English proficiency for understanding the course syllabus.

The learners are expected to plan their study schedule for at least 28 taught hours and 20 hours of private study, approximately.
