Part 2: Certified Lifting Engineer

This section emphasises the duties and responsibilities of supervisors to deliver safe lifting operations that include:

  • Duties of the supervisor, crane operator, and signaler.
  • Ways to perform risk assessments prior to lifting operations.
  • Checking Stability and load balance to avoid lifting vehicle collapse.
  • Choosing the appropriate components for lifting operations and key major aspects for the choice.
  • Various slings useful for diverse lifting operations.
  • Kinds of ropes and their associated load-bearing capacities.
  • Maintaining and inspecting lifting gear components.

Part 3: Certified Lifting Engineer

This section is part of the CPDSO Course and it includes:

  • Certified Scaffolding Supervisor.
  • Certified Senior Accident/Incident Investigator.
  • Certified Train the Trainer.
  • Certified Safety Practitioner in Occupational Safety & Health.
