The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety Course is an internationally recognised fire safety qualification that is exclusively designed to offer in-depth knowledge and skills to conduct effective fire risk assessment as per the best practice conventions (Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020). This course also provides participants with a broad understanding of the principles of fire explosion protection, prevention and human behaviours in case of a fire emergency.

During this course, the learners will gain practical skills of fire safety expertise and competencies to deploy in any organization across the world, thus empowered to progress their career growth.

The new Fire safety qualification replaces the two older versions – NEBOSH National and International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.

  • An open book examination, where the learners have 24 hours to achieve the assessment.
  • A practical fire risk assessment.

Typically the fire risk assessment is centered on fire risk assessment standards like the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020.

Learners are recommended to have English standards so that they can understand the syllabus of the course.

The successful completion of the course enables the learners to become eligible for:

  • Associate Membership (AIIRSM).
  • Technician Membership (TIFPO).
  • Associate Membership (AMIFPO).
  • IFPO Fire Risk Assessors register.

Upon completing the NEBOSH Fire Certificate, learners can progress to the NEBOSH International Diploma which demonstrates their health and safety expertise to the current and future employers. The increased expertise improves job prospects and earning potential of professionals.
