Golden Rules of Process Safety Management in Oil & Gas (Upstream / Downstream)
This course aims in making candidates from thinking PSM elements as isolated parts and procedures to an interrelated system that mutually supports actions and results. This gives new perspectives offers strong foundation for incidents and hazard reduction.
Candidates are usually divided into 3 or more groups to work collaboratively for analyzing scenarios using incident case studies/videos and apply critical thinking skills to identify potential hazards. This course is based on a problem based learning approach provides collaborative job- focused experience to enhance skill development.
Candidates will practice completing parts of PSM analysis; identify and implement procedural requirements for managing latest technologies, facilities and personnel parts of PSM requirements; compare best-practice requirements with actual documented system; build a personal PSM collaboratively on the job recommendation workbook; transfer in – class diagnostic strategies to hazards involved in job and safety decisions; show holistic understanding of PSM system.

Assessment method
Candidates are assessed with non-supervised online examination, which is of question answers format. This can be taken at any convenient time by the candidate. After the successful completion of Golden Rules of Process Safety Management in Oil & Gas (Upstream / Downstream) self-assessment test, the learners will get the course completion certification approved by CPD from Green World Group.
