Unit ND2 / ID2 & ND3 / ID3 Assessments – Delving into the Case Study

This phase requires learners to submit a case study. These case studies are aimed at demonstrating the proficiency of learners obtained from the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma and their ability to deploy in the real workplace. Both DN2/DI2 and DN3/DI3 remain similar in structure, type of questions and answer requirements.

The participants will be given a scenario and provided a hypothetical issue to think critically about and determine a solution. They are also required to justify the decisions of the persons. There are numerous ways through which the participants can approach the situation and deal with the scenario given.

Differences between DN2/DI2 and DN3/DI3

The major difference lies in jumping to the first stage of the DN1/DI1 assessment from this stage. In contrast to 6 weeks to complete DN1/DI1, learners have a total of 8 weeks to complete their DN2/DI2 and DN3/DI3.

The DN1/DI1 assessment phase has four sections, while DN2/DI2 and DN3/DI3 assessments have only case studies.

Learners are not allowed to simultaneously appear for DN2/DI2 and DN3/DI3 assessments.

What happens after completing the NEBOSH assessments?

Learners will get their results within 50 days after they have submitted the assessment. After the successful completion of every unit, they will get a unit certificate. After completing all three unit assessments, participants are given their overall grade for the NEBOSH Diploma qualification and will have their invitation to the NEBOSH Graduation and Awards Ceremony.
